Screening/Assessment
Our Dyslexia specialist will work one-on-one with your child to determine learning styles, strengths/weaknesses and report on other diagnostic assessments that are relevant to your child’s education. Our Dyslexia specialist will screen your child and determine whether or not they fit into the “Dyslexic” profile. The information collected from the assessment will then be compiled into a written report and provided to parent.
Advocacy Services
Navigating the public and private school system to ensure your child gets the attention they deserve can be extremely frustrating and confusing. We provide advocacy services and parent consultations for Dyslexia and learning disabilities including IEP Review, accommodations and modifications, records review, etc.
Individual Tutoring Session
Each tutoring session utilizes the Orton-Gillingham method and is customized to fit your child’s needs. The sessions begin after an initial consultation and assessment has been conducted with your child to ensure the utmost effectiveness of each session.
Group Session
Although we stress the importance of one-on-one sessions, we also understand that you may have more than one child who needs our assistance. The Orton-Gillingham approach does allow for up to 2 students in a group session however the two students must be at similar reading levels. Therefore an initial consultation is required in order to determine if 2 students can be tutored in a group setting. Please contact our office to inquire about this type of tutoring. *Price is per student/per hour. Regular Assessment Rates apply per student.
Live Online Tutoring
We understand your schedule may prohibit you from making it to our office for in-person tutoring sessions and thus also provide live, online tutoring sessions. We must stress that this may not be available for every student. An initial consultation would be required in order to determine if this type of session would be beneficial, since not all children will be able to focus via an online course.
